At the end of her degree in Management, Joana wanted to know other realities and embarked on an international experience, where she interned, through AIESEC (platform that allows young people international experiences of volunteering or internships in different countries), consulting in an organization in Ecuador. During these 4 months, she had the opportunity to know a different country and to contact companies from various sectors and contribute to the development of the organizational culture of each one. During his master’s degree at Nova, she charted a path towards social entrepreneurship and developed his final thesis project in collaboration with Mezze, a restaurant that employs refugees from the Middle East for its integration into the Portuguese. Since then, his interest and enthusiasm for the theme has a growing and can develop it in projects within Sair da Casca. Food waste is another theme very present in your day-to-day life, and more recently you have had the opportunity to work from the perspective of the business fabric, through an internship at the leading platform to combat food waste Too Good To Go, where you have been making your direction of supportals from the restaurant to the platform.
At Sair da Casca, it follows projects in the strategy and sustainability reporting axis, as well as research, as trends in the sector.
Graduated in Management from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management and Master in Management from the New School of Business and Economics.
