Passionate about natural resources early on, she was awarded in childhood by the Municipality of Esposende for identifying and solving the environmental problems of her homeland. With a degree in Environmental Engineering, in the end she wanted to be part of the energy transition in Portugal through the forest row. With a postgraduate degree in Energy and Bioenergy, she was part of multidisciplinary teams in strategy and innovation in the Bioenergy sector. The 12 years of professional experience between the retail and energy, biomass and biorefinery sectors have provided Cristina with a multidisciplinary and leadership experience in Investment Projects, Innovation, Quality, Environment, HST, Strategy and Business Development. She believes that, in the face of global challenges, prosperity is deeply anchored to the global right to the development and integration of planetary frontiers into organizations. In 2022, she begins a new path, now seeking to inspire different economic sectors in integrating the challenges of sustainability.
At Sair da Casca, Cristina is part of the sustainability strategy and reporting team, follow-up projects, research and industry trends.
Graduated in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar. Postgraduate in Energy and Bioenergy from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Postgraduate in Project Management from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon.
