Benedita graduated in Political Science and International Relations and then completed a master’s degree in Social Management at Nova SBE. She worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, lived in Colorado, USA and trained in northern Mozambique for 2 months for NOVAfrica (Study Center for Economic Development). Her motivation on contributing for society’s development was reinforced by her master’s thesis at Social Investment Lab on Academia do Johnson and its ability to prevent juvenile deliquency in at-risk youth. She also volunteered as a theater director at Associação Cais. Currently, not only volunteers in a social project named “Menos”, focused on reducing unemployment through micro-entrepreneurship, but she is also involved in the development of several mobilization projects for social action. A tireless traveler, Benedita is now a consultant at Sair da Casca, where she is dedicated to strategic philanthropy projects, through which social sector entities can apply for business financing. In these projects, she analyzes and monitors the projects of the social economy entities, applying her knowledge on these organizations.
